松田正隆（Matsuda Masataka）
劇作家、演出家、マレビトの会代表。1962年、長崎県に生まれる。1990年〜1997年まで劇団「時空劇場」代表を務め、劇作・演出を手がける。 1994年『坂の上の家』で第一回OMS戯曲賞大賞受賞。1996年『海と日傘』で岸田國士戯曲賞受賞。1997年『月の岬』で読売演劇大賞作品賞受賞。 1998年『夏の砂の上』で読売文学賞受賞。2000年には京都府文化奨励賞を受賞。劇団解散後、フリーの劇作家として、青年団、文学座、演劇集団円などに作品を書き下ろしている。舞台戯曲の他、黒木和雄監督作品『美しい夏キリシマ』にて映画脚本を手がけ、『紙屋悦子の青春』は原作として映画化されている。2003年8月より「マレビトの会」を結成し、劇作及び演出活動を開始。マレビトの会の主な作品に『島式振動器官』『クリプトグラフ』『声紋都市ー父への手紙』『PARK CITY』『都市日記 maizuru』などがある。現在、京都造形芸術大学 舞台芸術学科客員教授。

Born 1962 in Nagasaki Prefecture. Matsuda is a leading japanese playwright/director since the 1990s.
He started his career in drama while a student at Ritsumeikan University. He formed Jiku Gekijo company in Kyoto in 1990, and wrote and directed all the works for the company until it was disbanded in 1997. He worked as a freelance after that and wrote for and co-produced with Seinendan and Bungakuza etc.
He joined marebito theater company in May, 2004 and started to direct again as well as continuing to write for the company.
He is outstanding for his ability to apply everyday setting and unflinching language to depict the unconscious fetters hidden in the human unconscious.
He has received numerous awards, including OMS Drama Award 1994 for “Saka no Uenoie (The house on the hill)”, OMS Drama Award and KISHIDA Kunio Drama Award in 1996 for “Umi to Higasa (Sea and Parasol), Yomiuri Drama Award for “Tsuki no Misaki (Moon Cape)”, Yomiuri Literature Award in1998 for “Natsu no Sunanoue (On the sand of the Summer)” and Kyoto Cultural Encouragement Prize in 2000. He was selected as the most avant-garde and experimental theater artist the year 2009 in critical magazine "Theatre Arts". He is a guest professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design.
